“Clubs United is the bringing together of Sporting Clubs to leverage their combined purchasing power to receive improved financial benefits and payment terms on the products they buy.”
I partnered with Clubs United for only a few weeks to develop their brand’s identity that reflected them and their attributes.

They needed a brand that defined their business purpose. They needed something that they could be proud to wear & something that was easily identifiable.
I created a logo with a meaning that shaped their brand & values. I also created the rest of the branding to go along with the logo.
You can’t pretend you know something as much as the founder. So we asked lots of questions. We needed to know what the brand was, and who was their target audience to create this visual identity that would last a life-time.
We started off by doing concept rounds. I presented over 15 unique designs to the client before they picked one to refine. When I was doing this, I created all the logos in black and white. Why? So my client could focus more on the idea behind the logo than what the colours are. We then proceeded with a concept and did a refining stage. That process was fairly quick. I presented sequence of colour palettes and alternative font options for the client to choose from. From there, I created a file that had all the files the client needed for their identity.
The icon itself is a geometric & simplified take on the iconic badge associated with sporting clubs.
